Price includes snacks, main, dessert and wines for each course. As this is a group function we can only cater for vegetarians and coeliacs with dietary requirements. 

If cancelling within 2 days of the event there will be no charge, within 2 days will be a $99pp cancellation fee. Numbers are very limited for this dinner.

In Apollo and Thelma – the astonishing true story of Thelma and her brother Paul, legendary strongman and circus star, ‘The Mighty Apollo’ – broadcaster and lawyer Jon Faine shares a yarn that has enthralled him for forty years, taking him from Melbourne’s depression-era slums to the isolation of the outback. 

Jon Faine is a lawyer and award-winning broadcaster who hosted the agenda-setting morning broadcast for ABC Radio in Melbourne for more than twenty years. Jon had practised for seven years in both commercial litigation and as a legal aid/human rights advocate before joining the ABC to host The Law Report on Radio National. He is a weekly columnist for The Sunday Age, has been nominated for three Walkley awards, and does countless conference presentations, panel moderations, guest lectures and public events. Jon is well known for his provocative and probing debate, quick wit and thought-provoking ideas.
